I bought this bundle when Stacia, Deloise and I went to Houston for the 2016 International Quilt Festival. It came with a pattern for a 3-Yard quilt. I’ve purchased 3-Yard quilt books over the years, as has Deloise, and we’ve always shared them.

It wasn’t until this year that I dug out the fabric to make a Christmas quilt for my 12-Day package. Much to my surprise there were six different fabrics in the bundle and none of them were a yard in length. I don’t recall what pattern I picked up with the fabric but I found another 3-Yard quilt pattern that I wanted to make.

It took some figuring and adjusting but I was finally able to make the pattern work with the fabric I had. In my head I planned another zinger for the border but there wasn’t enough fabric to do that and I had to adjust the size of the border. The quilt still came out at a decent size for a cuddle under.
