Pieces

I’ve had a busy day and I still hope to accomplish a bit more before I stop.

Before a chat this morning with Stacia and Deloise I did some tidying and vacuuming downstairs. I had a few things in the closet that had been pulled from the bedroom and bathroom when we had the flood and I’m slowing getting them put back in place or finding a new place to store them. I need to scrub the kitchen and hallway floor but that might have to wait until tomorrow.

I have the next clue of my Hex-Along ready to hand stitch. It is nice to have something to work on either in the evening or in the morning when I have my coffee. I still have last week’s clue to add to the “mother ship” but I’ll wait until this clue is done and add them at the same time. The project is getting quite large and it is difficult to add on to it.

I also have nine more masks cut out and ready to sew. I’m using a Hallowe’en theme for these ones.

And finally, this afternoon, I stitched the binding onto my latest (well, the latest one I’ve been working on) project. More hand sewing for tonight (and maybe a little Modern Family to go with it),
