I heard a series of bangs outside after I had turned the light out last night. When we got up this morning we found that two of our windows had been egged. I’d heard of egging windows before, but only when associated with Hallowe’en. Pat, on the other hand, had some experience in egging when he was much younger. I only felt a little guilty while he cleaned the windows and I worked in my studio!

Since some of you have been asking, I’ve taken a photo of the reverse side of my jacket. Please note how careful I was to get both sides of the front to match. Under normal circumstances I’ll never wear it this way but, on a positive note, if I’m ever lost and wearing my jacket I can reverse it and I’ll be easy to spot.

I had to make a trip to Wal-Mart after lunch so I did the grocery shopping too. I took some time this afternoon to cut out all the pieces of my Easter project that were finished. I thought I might get time to start assembling them, but the afternoon was over before I got to it.

Dinner tonight was easy. We went up the street to Pasta Night at the church. Sometimes they have store-bought cookies for dessert but tonight they had chocolate cake and you can bet we each had a piece. I’m not sure what the occasion was – maybe we should be paying more attention to the dessert and drink table!

While Pat was at storytelling tonight I watched a movie – Under the Tuscan Sun. It was set in Italy and often I would see something and think, “We’ll be there and seeing that soon.”
