Grandmother’s Cross
Diamond Star-May 7
Double V-May 8

I’m happy to have my daily blocks caught up. I missed starting my day with something positive but I’ll be back on track tomorrow. I have enough 12″ blocks to make a quilt top; I’ll probably wait until I have a few more and then see which ones go together best.

And I’m happy to have the Guild mystery quilt top finished. It is the largest quilt I’ve ever made. Doing this project convinced me that I am not ready to work on one project at a time – I need variety. Each clue took several days out of the week to complete and it took four long days to put the blocks together. Of course there were a few errors on my part but as each clue was finished I was tired of the project.

I’m still struggling with my new computer. I think I may have to say goodbye to the way I was doing a lot of things and find other ways or programs to do them. My camera continues to be a problem but we have been able to get photos downloaded to my machine by going through Pat’s. Not the best solution but a few less steps than downloading photos to my iPad and then back to my machine.

I seems everything I own is obsolete (including me?) with the exception of this new computer.
