Good sewing day

Tuesday, March 10, 2020

At the moment I have way more on my plate than I can handle but the one good thing about today is that it was a sewing day. I started a miniature on the weekend and I hoped to get the pieces of that stitched together but by the time I’d done four card tops there wasn’t any time left. I think we were to have a miniature meeting today but our organizer seemed to forget about it and none of us were reminding her. Maybe she’ll forget next month too!

I had to go back to the Hall again today and then stopped at the bank on my way back home. Even in the short time I’ve been typing this post I’ve had to stop and send a couple of messages regarding the Hall; I didn’t want to leave them or I’d likely forget. We are hosting a reception at the Hall on Friday and there are a couple of other irons in the fire that don’t seem to want to wait until our next Board meeting.

I have to get the Guild blog done next; there was an issue with the pattern we received for our Block of the Month at the last meeting and everyone has been asking me to fix it. I’m not on the committee who does this program but because members expect to see it on my blog all of a sudden it becomes my job to get it right.

Pat has asked to have some of the Hospice gala tickets printed and cut for a meeting tomorrow. They have started their advertising so, of course, they need tickets. I have just under a hundred done but there are 300 more to do. Pat said I don’t have to have them all done for tomorrow but my thought is that I’ll get them done and I won’t have to go back to it.

So, I’d better get to work!
