These are this year’s versions of birthday cards for Regan and Thekla. Each little pouch contains a bar of soap from a local seller – Powell River Natural Soap Lady.

Our first house concert performer (Mary Flower) introduced me to these products. Mary had performed on the Island and had been told about the soap. We had to track down the seller on a Sunday in the middle of a move to get bars for Mary to take home, but she bought enough to make it worth while. I’ve been using her products as “go-to” gifts ever since.
