It stinks

Pat cooked fish for dinner last night and the house still stinks. I simmered lemons for an hour this morning and I thought it was better. I closed up the house to go to stitching this afternoon and when I came home it was just as bad as ever. I have all the doors open now but there is no breeze so I’m not sure it will help.

I finished the quilting on my project this morning. Aside from a few thread breaks it went well. I’ve picked out the binding and I will hopefully get at that on Sunday before I’m needed at the Hall.

I finished three blocks at stitching this afternoon – I still have eight to go but they are progressing. I’m much further behind Jessie and Gail; Gail wants to do a “different” binding so it is good she’ll get at that ahead of me and I’ll be able to see whether or not I want to do the same thing.

I was at my 100+ Women Who Care meeting tonight; it is a nice evening so I walked up and back. My choice didn’t win the vote (again) but they were all worthy presenters so I don’t mind too much.
