In spite of the rain we’ve had all day, summer is definitely here. I drove to the Hall after sewing and came home along Marine Drive. The 30 km speed signs are up at Willingdon Beach and that’s a sure sign of summer.
I had a good session at the bee today. Everyone loved my miniature quilt and they decided that next month they are going to have a workshop and everyone will make one like it. That will be the last meeting until the fall; I won’t be able to be at the June meeting so I’m done with my miniatures for awhile.
I had a couple of gift projects that I took to work on; I knew they would be quick but I had them pretty much done before lunch. After lunch I took apart my mistake in my HST quilt, fixed it up, and stitched it all back together. I like a day where I actually accomplish something.
