I didn’t bother posting last night because all I did all day was wrap parcels and boxes, plan for the extra things I needed to finish off my list, drag out some Christmas decorations and then do some ornament stitching. I can’t believe how quickly the day passes.
Today has been busy with more errands. Here’s what I’ve done so far:
- Set up the tree (no decorations on it yet)
- Got out my Christmas linens (tea towels, placemats, table toppers, Mum’s cross stitch hangers, etc.)
- Trip to the Post Office
- Showing at Cranberry Hall
- Stop at Brooks School (to drop off some fabric the Guild was donating)
- Stop at the ferry terminal (for an Experience card for the carpenter doing the work on Texada)
- Stop at the Post Office (I couldn’t carry both boxes in at the same time)
- Stop at Quality Foods (I picked up all the items for my Reverse Advent Calendar at one time)
- Stop at the $ Store (for envelopes for mailing)
- Stop at the bank (for obvious reasons)
- Stop at Safeway (they have the best selection of gift cards)
And just in case you are wondering, for about the third time I thought I was finished with my shopping only to realize I neglected to pick up one little thing. It has to end; after today I’m not going to look at my list again and I’m going to try to stop thinking of little “things” I should (could) do (get).
It’s just past noon now and, once I get my Advent Food Bag sorted out I’ll spend the rest of the day working on my ornaments and adding decorations to the tree.
