Lesser of two evils

In my new “yard” schedule I should have been doing another morning of work in the yard. It was a bit rainy when I got up and showers were predicted for the day so I decided to work on some Cranberry Hall and tax papers instead. As it turned out, the day was quite nice and I don’t think there were any showers.

I had a few updates that needed to be done as a result of the Guild meeting last night. Why is it so much more fun at the Guild meetings than it is at the Cranberry Hall meetings? I still have a bit of work to do in the next few days, but it was nice to have the majority of the work done so quickly. I know I was just procrastinating at getting to the Cranberry Hall paperwork. Monday will be the last meeting before our Member Appreciation event and our Annual General Meeting so there was a lot to do. I’ll need to spend at least another morning at the task but I worked on it until almost noon. The Hall is book the evening of the meeting so we’ll be gathering at our place which gives me just a little bit more time to prepare should I need it.

I also spent some time getting our paperwork ready for filing our Income Tax. We send it all to an accountant but I still have to document and copy everything I’m sending just in case it goes missing in the mail. I have a whack of copying to do that will take another half day I expect.

But after lunch I got back to my quilting and I’m happy to say that I’ll be hand stitching binding this evening – and probably most of the day tomorrow. I’m anxious for this quilt to be finished and I hope to show it at the Tuesday bee so it can be struck off my Guild UFO list.
