I got Madison’s shrug finished up before breakfast this morning – of course breakfast was on the late side. And I had it in the mail before lunch.

My plan for the rest of the day was to get back to my quilting. When I got home from the post office and checked my mail, I had a message (and photos) from Shane, who I worked with at the City. He and his wife are the proud parents of a new baby boy (just a couple of weeks old). I immediately got out my knitting needles and baby wool and a new blanket tops the list of all my projects for the next week or so.

We were out at the movies again. Tonight was the first movie in the Spring series of art films. The movie theatre needs to raise some serious coin or they will have to close down. They need to convert from 35 mm film projection to digital and it is more money than the owners can afford. Some money had been made through fundraisers, and there is a big meeting on Sunday to see if the board and members can come up with some new ideas.
