I should say right off the bat that I’m not a fan of 3-D movies, nor am I a fan of comic book stories.

Whenever I watch a movie in 3-D I am reminded of the View Master reels we had when I was growing up. The characters in the movies seem small in relation to the backgrounds and it all seems a bit “off”.

I’m not sure there was ever a comic book that covered this story. There were some good special effects in the movie, but there were lots that were other-dimensional and not all that interesting to me. Pat says he can already see the possibility of a sequel. There was some good humour in the lines but not enough to make it worth the time it took to see the show.

I should have stayed home but it had been a long time since I’d been to the movies and the popcorn was calling me. Sadly neither the movie nor the popcorn were very enjoyable!
