The Strangers are a Métis family from Winnipeg. This is a fictional account of a family but sadly it is probably true of many families. The story follows four generation of women – Annie, Margaret (Annie’s daughter), Elsie (Margaret’s daughter), and Phoenix and Cedar-Sage (Elsie’s daughters). Although it is a tough story to read there are glimpses of a good life and lots of love through out.
