I had a lovely surprise in the mail today – hugs from my kids.

The parcel was mailed by Christy and I opened the card first and found that the gift was from everyone. When I opened the package I thought I was getting a lovely, soft blanket that looked the perfect size for the recliner chair. But as I unfolded it I noticed there was something on the back. Oh my goodness I’ll be surrounded by my family as I spend the first few days after surgery in the recliner.
