I headed out to the post office just after nine this morning and my car said the temperature was only -1; it felt cold too even with my scarf and gloves on. Kathryn said it was -31 there today without adding in the wind chill so I know I shouldn’t complain or even comment on our cold. It has been a sunny afternoon but I just checked the weather and they say it is 3 but feels like -2. What happened to Spring?

I finished up my May quilt before moving on to cards this afternoon. I seem to be having trouble following diagrams as well as counting. On the first card top I twisted blocks on two of the three rows and I was glad to move on. On the second top I was pulling scraps of fabric but when I went to put the card together I had miscounted and had to go back into my scraps.

I’ll carry on for a bit but I think I might have better luck if I switch to my cross stitching.
