I didn’t plan it this way but I’ve had a very lazy afternoon. I wasn’t able to take my donations to the thrift shop so that was one easy thing off my decluttering list. The other tasks on my list were computer-related so sitting with my coffee and working through them wasn’t exactly a challenge.
After lunch I got the binding attached to the May quilt. And for the rest of the afternoon I’ve been sitting in the sun hand stitching it down. I have one side left and that will be another job done. There are lots more waiting though so there will be no celebration.
We were looking forward to another session from Taylor’s competition but we won’t be getting it via Zoom. They are allowing spectators in to watch so I guess they didn’t think there was a need for the Zoom link. They didn’t ask me though and I’m disappointed. Christy said she’d try to get a video and send it along. Tumbling is a new disciple for Taylor and I was looking forward to seeing what she does.
My crocheting in the evening is going very slowly. It feels like a feather compared to the blanket I just finished but this has more pattern and I’m often messing up. I crochet a couple of rows then I have to take it back half a row and continue on again until the next blip.
I’ll get back to my hand stitching again and maybe I can finish before supper.
