Teenagers Maggie and Eve were neighbours and best friends. One day, after an argument, Eve disappears. Later that day Maggie and Nola, Eve’s sister, find Eve dead in the caves near their homes. Maggie’s father was Chief of Police at the time but the case was never solved. There were no lack of suspects and when a new piece of evidence comes to light 25 years later Maggie, now a Detective on the police force, is tasked with reviewing the case.

There were parts of the story that were a little unbelievable but it was a good read.
