The storm has arrived – apparently the worst in BC history. I was out this morning while it was raining lightly but it is just past noon and the wind is whipping the leaves off the trees and sending them every which way but down to the ground. The rain is coming down sideways.

I’ve done a bit of work in my studio but the power has flickered a couple of times so I’ll turn my computer off and head downstairs to do some cross stitching. The windows down there give more light but I’ll take a couple of my best stitching lights down in case the power goes out.
