I don’t think back in March I expected we’d still need to be so vigilant to keep the corona virus at bay, but I’m having no difficulty staying at home and observing the rules. We’ve begun Phase 3 openings and, because travel within BC is okay, I sincerely hope that our tourists are careful and obey the rules.
I was to be working on cards today; I had two patterns lined up with the end result of making three cards. All I managed was one card, but that one card is ready to be wrapped and put in the mail tomorrow. I’m finding a lot of fun patterns for my July cards.
I made a trip out to one of the shops this afternoon. I called them this morning and there was no answer so I thought they might be closed. I tried again this afternoon and got an answer – they are open shorter hours, but they are open. My car needed an outing so I set off, mask in hand. I should have asked about the specific item I wanted because when I got into the store and asked about it I was told they were sold out. The sales person was helping another customer at the same time and I couldn’t help but notice neither was wearing a mask and they certainly weren’t distancing themselves.
It was pouring rain this morning but the sun came out this afternoon so I think I’ll be able to get out in the yard after supper.
