Happy Father’s Day to all, but particularly to my sons-in-law. My grandchildren (and daughters) are lucky to have you in their lives.

It was only recently that I found out that Mum’s Chocolate Angel Food recipe was hiding in the recipe book under Chocolate Vienna Torte. It took me awhile to gather all the necessary ingredients; sometimes we don’t get what we order from the store, and sometimes Pat thinks that white chocolate pudding will work as well as chocolate pudding. I know this won’t taste as good as Mum’s and it certainly doesn’t look as neat as hers but I’ve taste-tested both the cake (from the pan scrapings) and the icing (from the bowl) and I know I’m going to be happy!
