Pat and I were up until 1:30 this morning watching the Outlander series. We had already seen a few shows and watched a couple more episodes as the evening began. While Pat made a cup of tea at about episode three of the night I dug out a crochet project. I didn’t want to stop watching the show or stop crocheting. So we finished the series and we can pick something different to watch tonight – hopefully a shorter series or shorter shows.
I didn’t set an alarm for this morning as my internal clock pretty much takes care of that. Pat got up at about 7:30 and promptly went back to bed; I glanced at the clock and immediately sprang from my bed to get ready for stitching.
I managed to check my e-mail, have my coffee, make my lunch and get ready to go – all on time. I worked on the last clue of a mystery quilt I’ve been working on. I looked ahead to the “Putting it Together” page and I think there is more cutting to be done. I want to take a couple of pieces apart as I’m not happy with the way the points miss; that will be my Thursday project.
I didn’t have much running around to do after sewing today – I took care of the things I forgot yesterday and that is about it. I’ve started some prep work for the projects I’m taking to the Texada Retreat – it’s all Christmas stuff. After I finish the Guild blog I will get back to that.
