This book and a couple of others that I really want to read have been sitting on top of the bookcase in the hallway for ages. I was walking down the hall at some point when I was ready to start a new book and picked it up.

There is something about those Scandinavian writers (Jo Nesbø, Stieg Larsson) that really know what they are doing when it comes to writing mysteries. This author is from Sweden and I put her right up there with the best of them.

There are a lot of characters in the book and I often had to pause to remember what the relationships were between characters. It wasn’t until the last chapter that I found out “who done it” and what was going on. And then, on the last two pages there was another big twist. Although you might be tempted to read from the back before you get there, don’t!
