The organization/decluttering workshop this afternoon was interesting and the woman was very entertaining. She has recently moved to Powell River and operates an organizing business.

For the most part there were no new ideas; I’d heard most of it before and I just need to follow the steps more often. I was mainly interest in what to do with photos.

While she touched on the topic briefly in her presentation I was able to ask her specifically about them in the Q & A. I’m already working with the method she advises (photo boxes to sort); she suggests sorting into categories (Christmas, holidays, etc.) but my photos are too scattered for that to be easily done so I may have to come up with another sorting method. I do need to work on them consistently on a regular basis and at a regular time to make the process a habit.

We’ll see how that goes!
