This author has written a lot of books – there are six in this series alone. I won’t be reading any more of them though.

The heroine, J.J. Graves, is a mortician and the coroner in a small town. Her best friend is the sheriff. She has a good sense of humour and, while there are a few murders involved, the book seemed more like a romance novel than a good mystery. The murderer is only mentioned in six chapters and never even showed up on my radar. I like a mystery where I have at least a fighting chance of figuring out who-done-it.
