I think all my mind needed was a clean sewing room because as soon as I finished the vacuuming I was ready to sew. I stitched up a few items that Taylor had sent home with me, and I had time this morning before my ten o’clock meeting to get her card finished. After getting the garbage and recycling to the curb I headed to City Hall to get some information I needed for the Hall.

And then, finally, I started quilting Taylor’s birthday gift. What I thought I was going to do turned out to be something quite different from what I’m doing, but at least I’m making progress.
