All my knitting is done as a donation – either shawls to the Church or for the Christmas baskets from the Salvation Army – and Mum’s birthday is perfect timing so I make them in her honour.

3 scarf and hat sets. I loved the pattern for the curly scarf, and it crocheted up very quickly.
Normally I pass my shawls to the Church but I decided this year to give everything to the Salvation Army. I have another one started in blue.
I loved making this afghan and I have another more scrappy one started. It uses up all the odds and ends of yarn I have left from other projects.
