I had a few things I had to do following our Board meeting last night but once they were done I felt like I was on holiday.
We were ready to head over to Texada about the time the first ferry was leaving. We wanted to move some furniture over, as well as the lawn mower, but it was raining so we could only bring what would fit under cover on the truck. Loading didn’t take as long as expected; we had time for some breakfast and were at the terminal early for the mid-morning ferry.
Once we unloaded at the studio there was a lot of housekeeping to do. Pat had acquired a sofa bed and three chairs so we needed to do some rearranging (mostly in my room). But some of the rearranging meant that I needed to switch around some of the quilts and now I have a bare wall just begging for a mini or a cross stitch picture. I can probably find a miniature but what I’d prefer is a cross stitch. Sadly though it will be a long time before my cross stitch\quilt is done.
I did a load of laundry and we had lunch before I was ready to settle in with The Princess. I can already see the progress I’ve made, probably because I’m not working on her dress. I hope to get a lot further ahead before we head home next week.
