These days I don’t accomplish much in the afternoon so I may as well write my post early.
We headed out to run a few errands this morning; Pat had some things at Staples for the next concert at Cranberry Hall and I went across to Walmart to pick up a digital clock and broom and dustpan for the Texada house. From there we went to the bank and sorted out the money for the Texada house and then stopped to drop it off at the lawyer’s. I had a payment to drop off at the newspaper office and then Pat took the concert tickets to Rockit Music. It was good to get it all done in one trip.
When we got home I packed up a box of dishes that we will take with us to Texada. Our piles are getting higher and we just hope everything will fit into the truck. We’ll stay over for most of the weekend, provided we’ve remembered to bring all the essentials.
I’ve done a bit of accounting for Cranberry Hall since lunch; I soon need to get busy with Pat’s year end, particularly because I seem to be slower at doing everything!
This afternoon I’ll wrap a few more packages for the Guild challenge, gather together my hand stitching for tomorrow afternoon’s session, gather something to work on when we are on Texada, and get the sleeve sewn onto the backdrop for Cranberry Hall.
Tonight is movie night!
