Author: Robert J. Wiersema
This is one of the books I picked from a hotel in Portland on a recent trip. I thought the title was one I had on my “list”; from the minute I started reading it I wondered if I had read it before. About half-way through the book I checked my Goodreads list but didn’t find it in either my “To Read” or “Read” lists; I searched my website but it wasn’t reviewed there. The story takes place in Victoria and it was nice to recognize spots in the city.
Sherilyn is a three-year old girl who is struck by a truck as she crosses a street with her mother. Sherilyn cannot survive her injuries and her parents decide to remove her from her life-support system. But Sherilyn doesn’t die; before too long one of her caregivers realizes that her debilitating arthritis has been cured. As word of the miracles gets out Sherilyn’s family face some huge decisions.
