We saw the trailer for the latest Woody Allen film several times but we weren’t impressed; the movie was better than we expected but somehow it just missed.

For much of the dialogue you could almost hear Woody Allan’s voice coming from Eisenberg’s mouth. The overall casting was good but Steve Carell never disappeared into his character. The period costumes, settings and music were well done.
