I feel like I’m back on track with my life (but don’t say it too loud or it could all change)! I spent the day catching up on the paperwork that didn’t get done last week; my e-mail Inbox is empty and my physical Inbox is down to things that can’t be done just at the moment. I’ve even started on Pat’s accounting but (surprise) I need to ask him a few questions before I go further.

We missed the Cinematheque movie last night so we went to the matinee this afternoon. I like seeing an afternoon movie and it was especially nice today to come out into sunshine after a particularly dark movie.

The Cranberry Hall held their board meeting on Tuesday. I knew they were looking for a Treasurer and I once said I would do it. That was before I saw what a mess the Arts Council accounting was and, while I was in the midst of sorting that out, I withdrew my offer. The Board meeting came and went without anyone stepping forward for the task so I again put my name forward and was accepted. This time I was able to see the accounting records and it appears to be in much better order.

I recall a couple of years ago wanting to join Kiwanis or Rotary. Pat wasn’t interested and I didn’t want to join because I wanted us to do something together. I’m not sure (I know) this isn’t what I had in mind, but I guess that’s just the way things work out sometimes!
