Tired

I got up shortly after Pat this morning so I got an early start on my cleaning. It was all done and I was headed upstairs at about my usual time. It was paperwork day – first I had to get our tax receipts off to the accountant. As well, I had a small parcel to send off to the boys in Saskatoon.

I was waiting to hear from the previous Arts Council Treasurer. Our accounting programs aren’t compatible so I knew I was going to have to re-enter all of the transactions since the beginning of their year which is September. I hoped to get it last week but I didn’t. When we saw Ann at the movie last night she promised me she would call me today when it was ready. She called around eleven to say she was going to email me the data; I’m still waiting. The board meeting is Sunday morning and I’m in a class all day tomorrow so time will be short.

Today was the deadline for table sales for the Stash Reduction sale; unfortunately not enough tables were sold so the sale isn’t happening. Some of the yarns I set aside can be offered in some of the online groups I belong to. We’ve talked about a yard sale so I guess the rest can be offered then. It will be more incentive to have the sale if I have to continue tripping over the bags I have set aside.

We’ve been trying to send our deposit for our week in France but haven’t had any luck. I went to the bank yesterday but I didn’t have all the information I needed. Our host sent us more of the information we needed but when I tried again this morning it still didn’t work. Fortunately our host will hold our spot while we sort out the problem. I also had a nice email from the instructor – this is going to be so much fun.

While I waited by my computer for the mail I worked on a card. I knew I was tired when I had it stitched, squared and hung on my design wall before I noticed I had done it wrong. After restitching two out of the three final seams I’m going for a nap.

Not only am I tired, I’m tired of waiting!
