Join international teacher and author, Chris, on this fabulous quilting workshop with a twist. Colour will be the focus of this week together with exploring multiple possibilities of the Fan Block. You can choose from several different projects –With 5 unforgettable days in the idyllic surroundings of Burgundy, you can certainly develop your creativity with Chris’s expert guidance on hand. Learn how to split the fans vertically, horizontally and with inserts. We’ll have fun with the layouts too.

There will be lots of designs to inspire you and you should be able to make at least two quilt tops if not three as the techniques for making these quilts are fast and fun.

Well known for her fantastic use of colour in her quilts, Chris will take the mystery out of the Colour Wheel and can even provide a kit so you can learn about Value and the importance of Light, Medium and Dark in your quilts.

The setting for this treat of an event can be found among the rolling and verdant hills complete with creamy, Charollais cows, of Southern Burgundy. Vineyards are never far away and wine tastings are a distinct possibility as are visits to local markets to see the delicious French products.

The accommodation and workshop are based at Les Cerisiers, a 17th Century farm.

Janice and Mark look after everyone and provide delicious meals and great friendship.

This is all happening while we are on our England/France vacation. And guess what – I got the last quilting spot!
