This movie didn’t interest me much when I saw the trailers; it tells the true story of one writer, Dalton Trumbo, who has been blacklisted because he belongs to the Communist Party. After serving time in jail Trumbo finds a way for himself and others in the film industry to continue to work, although never receiving credit for their talents. Trumbo won two Academy Awards for his films before he was able to come out of hiding and receive the recognition that should never have been taken from him in the first place.

I enjoyed the movie and I definitely recommend it.
