It’s been a quiet day around here. There were no appointments and no errands that needed to be done; we both spent the day doing what we like. I did some cross stitching between loads of laundry and drying, and I made some treats for tomorrow’s Song Circle. I did my ukulele practising; I’ve learned five chords so it takes me longer each week to practice. If one were to listen closely they might even hear me singing a bit!

We’re going out for dinner tonight. A local group will be providing the music; we haven’t heard them before but I said to Pat it will be nice to hear someone other than “the usuals”.
