For several weeks now I have been cross stitching on Sundays. I joined a new Facebook group and I have been inspired to get a couple of my projects done. By doing a bit each Sunday I can see the progress.

But Tuesday is our miniature quilt meeting; last month we were challenged to keep Valentine’s in mind for a project. I finished the top to my project at a Tuesday bee but it has been sitting waiting to be quilted for a week. I made lots of small Valentine cards but they are all in the mail so I couldn’t even fall back on them as my offering.

So today I did the quilting on my project; I have only a few ends to tie in and I’ll be ready for the binding. I should have enough time tomorrow to finish it off and I’ll be set for our meeting.

I haven’t spent any time practising my ukulele today; I’ve spent way more time than usual sitting in my chair reading my book. We’re off to the movies tonight – I certainly haven’t done that in a long time!
