Christy found and shared this pattern on Facebook.  I did some digging and found a couple of places with patterns and tutorials; I don’t crochet a lot, but this was an easy pattern to follow.

I used up quite a bit of my green yarn; I didn’t have enough of the same colours but I had enough to complete it in various shades of green. You had to change colour every row so there were a lot of ends to sew in at the end of it.

My little mermaid isn’t very little anymore though!
