What to do?

Friday, January 15, 2016

I can’t seem to settle on anything today. I knew there was some cleaning to do and I got that done while Pat was out at a meeting. But before thenĀ I sewed the blocks and borders together for my Sticks and Stones Table Topper.

There was probably time this afternoon to sandwich a quilt and maybe even start quilting but I wasn’t in the mood. I did some more prep work for my Leaders and Enders project. While I was putting away fabric from my Sticks and Stones project I designed a mini quilt that I’ll make as a prize for our Guild Event; once I knew what I was doing I did a bit of prep work on that so it will be a filler in case I run out of things to do at the bees (or afternoons like today when I can’t seem to settle).

I was awake early and read for a couple of hours before it was a decent hour to be up and about. I felt like a nap this afternoon but I resisted the urge and I’ve been working on the Guild recipe book. Tomorrow is a Hands Across the Water work bee but I told them I was going to stay home and work on the recipes. I’ll be a little ahead tomorrow and, if there is time, maybe I’ll feel more like settling down to something.

My entries yesterday were too large to be sent by email – at least mine didn’t come through. If you want to catch up on the posts I did yesterday that caused the entries to be so large click here.
