Pat will be calling me for dinner any minute now; I was going to skip the journal tonight but I finished cutting out my evening project so thought I would get something written.

I finished my book at 12:12 AM and I had it back at the library before 8:30. All the lights were off so I think I made the book drop before anyone was in so they won’t know it was a few hours late. From there I joined a long line at the post office and got a few things off in the mail. I needed gas so I filled up and then did a bit of shopping at Safeway before heading up to the bee.

We were at the clubhouse today; I like sewing days at the clubhouse as I always leave my machine at home and work on hand stitching. I got all the bindings stitched down on the projects I had ready. Since I’m out of projects to work on I had to get busy and do some cutting so I’ll have some hand stitching for the evening. I’ll be back to piecing tomorrow but it was a nice break.

And speaking of breaks, if I don’t pick up a few things off my studio floor I’m going to trip and break something.
