Almost there

Yesterday Pat and I talked about getting up early to be at Canadian Tire for 7 AM because there were a couple of things in the flyer that we wanted. Fortunately our sanity returned before bedtime and we decided not to bother!

So how did I spend my free morning? I spent all morning (and a bit of the afternoon) making bows and cards for six pairs of baby slippers. The fussing around with ribbons, printing cards and attaching the slippers to the cards took almost as much time as it took me to knit the slippers in the first place. And at $2 a pop I don’t think I’m getting anything for my labour.

I have all the finishing done on all my sale items and about half of them are tagged. I volunteered to help set up tables at the hall tomorrow afternoon; it was the only way to be able to set up my display without being there at 7:15 on Saturday morning.

We’re off to a concert tonight – Harry Manx!
