How is it possible that I spent all day working on this project and this is all I got done?

We are making on an English Paper Piecing Travel Kit. This was the second week of the instructions (I missed the first week) and I thought if I had my hexies done I’d be caught up. At the end of the day all I had accomplished was to get the pieces cut out (fabric and three different types of interfacing), attach the metal snap closures to the hexies, and get the front and the back of the hexie pieces stitched together.

Our instructor told me how to finish up, and said the tutorial online should help me. I won’t get back to this for a couple of weeks so hopefully she is right.

Lots of the ladies finished or nearly finished today so, if they remember how it is done, I can probably enlist their help.
