Three is an auspicious number for today:

• 3 birthdays
• 3 cards left to make
• 3 days left to sew
• 3 bags needed to transport all my travel goodies (although I’ll have to whittle that down to two)
• 3 fingers crossed that I’ll get it all done

Tomorrow and Sunday is the Sunshine Music Festival; I’ll go for one day but probably not both. There is a chance of showers on Sunday and I’m a fair-weather festival friend. One of the out-of-town groups playing on Saturday, Scott Cook and the Second Chances, stayed here a couple of years ago when they did a show at one of the local restaurants; it will be nice to catch up with them again.

Now, back to my sewing!
