Kathryn passed this book to me but it sat on my shelf for a long time. The story is told from the point of view of a young boy. The story takes place over the Labor Day weekend when Henry and his mother befriend an escaped convict.

I know the movie is available on Netflix and I’ll watch it when Pat is away later this month.
