As you can see I’ve been catching up today.
Pat was teaching so we got an early start; I had a load of laundry out on the line by eight. I had boxes to pack up for Christy and Elizabeth as well as a card to get ready for the mail. I’ll get them to the post office first thing in the morning. Before Christy’s box could be packed I had some mending to do for her; Taylor brought me a sundress that needed to be fixed and in my pre-visit cleanup I found a pair of Christy’s slippers that needed some stitching. I also got the beach toys washed and put away.
I made a quick trip out this afternoon to run a few errands. When I put my sewing machine in the trunk of my car (in preparation for tomorrow’s bee) I found several piles of seashells. Then, when I actually sat in the car, I found another container of shells under the passenger seat. It’s like we never left the beach! One of my errands was to do some printing at Staples so I could update my project book. I was behind on the Guild’s blog postings so I took care of that before I have a whole new set of photos to load tomorrow.
Pat is playing tonight at the Midsummer Night’s Feast up at the Farmer’s Market so we’ll be heading out soon. In the meantime I need to gather together some tools and projects for tomorrow.
