The section on Elizabeth’s House that I’m stitching at the moment reads “May your heart make you grateful for the simple things”.

When we were in Victoria I picked up extra floss in many of the colours I need for the embroidery. As I’ve been working over the past few days the thickness of one of the colours on the floss bobbin was getting thinner and thinner. I kept telling myself I would have enough but today there was no denying that my bobbin would be empty before the lettering was done.

I looked in my storage box and found a full skein in the exact colour I need. I’m so grateful I’m going to have an iced coffee with a little Bailey’s!
