It has been sprinkling rain off and on all day; at some point early in the week I said I’d cut the grass today (today being my first free day of the week). I admit I did a little happy dance when I saw the weather. I also intended to do some laundry, but I like to hang things outside and that wasn’t going to work with the rain. So I had a full day to play in my studio.

I am always busy with projects and I never seem to have time to do all the little things that need to get done. What I need are a few extra days in the week. What would I use those extra days for?

• I’d cut and sort all my scraps (that would take more than a few days)
• I’d take care of some paper shredding (I’d need to allow about a week to get that done)
• I’d sort through a few boxes of paper I moved from Yellowknife to Port Coquitlam to here (I’m thinking a month would take care of it)
• I’d vacuum and dust (I should start with this as it really is a quickie)
• I’d put away the piles of stuff that accumulate on my surfaces way too fast (but why bother because they’d just accumulate again)

What would you do if you had extra days in the week?
