I worked really hard today and I hoped I would have the second block of Elizabeth’s House finished. Sadly I’m not even half-way done the last section; a few more French Knots and I’ll be half-done but at this point my eyes need a rest.

I got a quarter of the section done this morning before stopping for lunch. After lunch I decided to transfer the embroidery pattern for the entire section rather than doing it section by section. I was approaching the last quarter of the marking when I realized I had sewn one of the pieces the wrong way. Luckily that section didn’t affect the section I had already embroidered or marked. Once that was fixed I went back to the transferring and noticed yet another piece out of synch. Again this piece didn’t affect the embroidery; although it slowed me down I was very happy not to have to redo any embroidery work.

If I stay up late enough tonight maybe I can get another quarter done, but then again I may just quit while I’m not making mistakes.
