I got all of our recycling out this morning and was finishing up the garbage when I looked at the city calendar and realized I had missed the date on Tuesday. I sat down with the collection schedule because I thought our electronic calendar had somehow (my error) been wrong. On closer inspection the pink zone was today after all. For years we were in the blue zone in Port Coquitlam and I still think of ourselves as blue! The actual collection doesn’t happen until late in the day so I had lots of time to put it back out.

I spent the rest of the morning clearing up my email and working on Pat’s accounting. Today was my Red Cross shift and that, along with a little nap, took care of the rest of the afternoon.

I’m off to a Guild demo tonight while Pat takes in a movie.
