Even though our guests arrived on the noon ferry yesterday, it felt like a day off. Pat and Nathan, who is a friend from the North, spent all afternoon visiting. Cindy did a bit of shopping and took a nap. We had a leisurely supper and headed out to the show.
I was disappointed in the turn out but they made money on the trip so I guess that’s all that matters. When we got home we sat up and talked until way past midnight . Since Cindy Church is the first performer to pass through who is known to me I thought I would be intimidated. She was a lovely guest and I felt quite comfortable around her.
Our guests usually take the noon ferry but they headed out on first ferry so we were up before seven. We’re both dragging a bit and the day has more or less slipped by without much being done. I had coffee and a visit with Carola this afternoon; she had some purchases to show me and I stitched some binding while we chatted.
I’d best figure out a plan for tomorrow’s bee. I have my miniature homework done so I need to find some hand stitching to take along with me; tomorrow is the one Tuesday of the month that I don’t take my machine.
