Another day gone. Aside from a trip to the post office and the laundry, I’ve been quilting all day. I chatted with Stacia last night; she gave me an alternate suggestion for quilting in those big white spaces. I had a fancy pattern planned for the large white areas of the quilt but I’ve decided to continue on with the straight lines (as Stacia suggested). I did lines in each of the sections today, but the quilting is too loose so I will add an extra line of quilting between the lines that I did today.

Can anyone tell me why I think of Aunt Gertie when I look at this quilt?
